– In addition to practicing the profession he loves, Dr. Rivera has also dedicated his career to forming the future dentist as a teacher for 20 years. He served as a Program Director for dental education in prosthodontics and Program Director Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics postdoctoral program at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Dr. Rivera is  also is involved in the implant surgical training in the Postgraduate Prosthodontics program

– Dr. Rivera is past president of the Maryland section of the American  College of Prosthodontists and actively attends and presents at conferences in prosthodontics and implant dentistry worldwide.
